- 2005
From the cockpit to the wrist
The BR 01 Instrument appeared at Basel in 2005 in four versions, the 92, 94, 96 and 97, in a 46 mm monobloc case. Its fastening system let the watch become a desk clock, a pendant or a dashboard piece.
- 2006 to 2009
A smaller sibling, tourbillons, skulls
A 42 mm BR-03 followed in 2006 and took the shape to a wider audience, while the BR-01 moved upmarket with tourbillon editions such as the 18-piece Phantom. The first BR-01 Skull arrived in 2009.
- 2010 to 2013
The whole cockpit, instrument by instrument
The 2010 Radar replaced hands with rotating disks, and its success led to the Red Radar in 2011 and six more instruments in 2012 and 2013, each limited to 999 pieces. All kept the 46 mm BR 01 case.
- 2015 to 2016
Ten years, bronze and tattoos
In the BR01's tenth year Bell & Ross issued a bronze BR01-92 Air Skull. In 2016 the Burning Skull covered every face of the case with ink-filled engravings.
- 2020 to 2025
Sapphire skulls and twenty years
The Cyber Skull of 2020 rebuilt the skull theme in faceted form, and a full sapphire version followed in 2021 in a 45 mm case. In 2025 the brand marked twenty years of the BR-01 with its 20 Years of Boldness campaign.
