Between the first PACE and the second, COROS cut 19 grams. At 29 g the PACE 2 was billed as the lightest GPS watch in the world, and it sold for $199.

weight of the PACE 2
The original PACE was first shown at CES. It had a 46 mm case, four buttons, 16 MB of storage and bands that needed tools to change, and it gave about 25 hours of GPS.
PACE 2 shrank to 42 mm, swapped buttons for a digital dial plus one button, added quick-release bands and measured running power from the wrist. GPS life rose to 30 hours, or 60 in UltraMax mode.
PACE 3 weighs about 30 g on a nylon band in a 42 mm case, and COROS rates it for 38 hours of GPS and 15 days of daily use. After 10 hours of GPS it still had 76 percent battery, against 63 percent for PACE 2. It sold for $229.
PACE Pro brought COROS's first AMOLED screen, 1.3 inches and 1,500 nits, plus full-colour offline maps and 32 GB of storage. At $349 it cost nearly twice the PACE 3.
PACE 4 put a 1.2-inch AMOLED into the light watch at $249, adding a third action button and a microphone for voice notes. Its arrival cut PACE 3 to $199 and PACE Pro to $299.
The PACE 4 Pro added a titanium bezel, a sapphire touchscreen and COROS's largest display yet, reaching Malaysia on 21 October 2026.
2024. DC Rainmaker summed up the PACE Pro as kinda a Pace 3, but also kinda not.
2020. Testing the PACE 2, Road Trail Run used 30% of the battery on a 9.5-hour night hike, projecting about 31 hours of GPS.
COROS launched its first GPS watch, the PACE multisport, in May 2018.

The gap between the two lugs that hold the strap, in millimetres. A new strap must match it exactly: 20 mm lugs take a 20 mm strap.
Most watches use spring bars, so any strap of the right width fits. Many smartwatches use their own band system instead, such as Apple Watch bands or Garmin QuickFit.
