Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar 1962 designer Reference 3448

The Geneva case-maker is credited with the case of the ref. 3448, launched in 1962 as the first self-winding perpetual calendar wristwatch; his broad sloping bezel and sharp angular lugs replaced the rounded 1950s cases of the refs. 1526 and 2497, and the 5236P of 2021 drew on that case.
