Do Apple Watch bands fit a Samsung Galaxy Watch?
No. Apple Watch bands slide into Apple's own band slot, while Galaxy Watch bands use a 20 mm connection (Watch4 to Watch7) or Samsung's Dynamic Lug System (Watch8 and later, Ultra), and neither maker lists the other's bands.
What the makers say
- Every Apple Watch band slides into the case after you hold down the band release button. Apple says different Apple Watch bands use the same release mechanism.

- Galaxy Watch7 has a 20 mm band connection and takes bands from Galaxy Watch6, Watch6 Classic, Watch5 and Watch4.

- Samsung says the Galaxy Watch8 series uses a new dedicated attachment mechanism that is not compatible with bands from previously released models, and that bands are mutually compatible between Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic.

- On Galaxy Watch9, Watch8 and Watch8 Classic you detach a band by pressing the band button on the back of the watch (Samsung's Dynamic Lug System).

- Galaxy Watch Ultra can only be used with its dedicated bands: its band connection is 34 mm wide and is incompatible with any previously released Galaxy Watch bands.
